You can export an entire set of parameters you have created and store them with their own names.
You can then share these parameter sets with colleagues, mentors or students so you’re all using the same filters to evaluate your trades together.
You may have one style of trading for one period of time and then another style later – each can have its own parameters that you import into the Trade Log when you need it.

Parameters Are Automatically Saved With Backups
You don’t usually need to make a backup of your parameters file. Parameters are saved with your data when you do a standard Backup data operation from the File menu. The parameter export function is intended only for copying a set of parameters from one Trade Log installation to another or if you want to change out your sets. Note that emptying the database effectively creates a new installation.
